Tonight scream
- Songs
of one night
of summer
Text from 2009. Bob is a lowly criminal who makes a living with small odd jobs and Helen is a lawyer specializing in divorces, mistress of a man who constantly avoids her. These two beings wander through life almost giving up on finding meaning in it and start a strange love relationship, not because they want to, but because they can't stop doing it. A blow by Bob to his employers allows them to live two last days in a fleeting blaze of freedom in which anything can happen. Mixing narration, songs and dialogues, the form plays with the content, in what is a heavy contemporary text, black, but nevertheless redemptive. And, above all, it is representative of a certain contemporary theater that insists on focusing on the individual and his disenchantment with a perverted and impersonal world.
