Feast of theatrical text - 2019 edition
The Tonight scream is now a feast. Tasting theatrical text. It will take place between December 2018 and June 2019 in 7 spaces in Lisbon and Montemor-o-Novo, with the participation of around 40 actors. 6 major texts of modern and contemporary European dramaturgy will be read, visiting Ibsen, Tchékhov, Brecht, Genet, David Greig and José Maria Vieira Mendes. In addition to our main program, we also hosted a reading of Da Voz Humana, by the Women's School.
This night screams is a project of Companhia Cepa Torta with the artistic direction of Miguel Maia and Filipe Abreu.

Tonight they scream. Words that belong to a text are shouted. A text that was written to be said on stage, to be assembled, to be staged. In this adventure, we travel a parallel, lateral, marginal road: that of the simple reading of the text. We look for the side of orality, of saying, of allowing others to imagine together with us by the simple way in which we say each word. We go through every place, every corner and every alley of the pieces we propose to read and we are always surrounded by extraordinary actors to help us.
