Written in 1884, The Wild Duck is one of the most impressive plays written by the Norwegian playwright. A text of high allegorical value, it uses as its basis the story of the wild duck who, when he sees himself injured, dives into the lake and clings to the algae in the depths to die, avoiding surviving injured.
