On the 4th and 10th of May , artists Carminda Soares and Inês Minor presented the results of their creative process at the Open Days , which took place at Mina de São Domingos and in Lisbon, at Rua das Gaivotas 6 , respectively.

The performances “Ferrugem” and “Raiz de Curandeira” reflected the deep bond created between the artists and the local community, in a sensitive dialogue with memory, territory and practices of female resistance.

We would like to sincerely thank the public who followed us, the partners who made this edition possible – Mértola City Council, Serrão Martins Foundation, Rua das Gaivotas 6 – and all the people at Mina de S. Domingos who opened their doors, shared stories and welcomed this program with such affection.

🌿 More next year!

In 2026 we launched a new Open Call to continue giving space, time and voice to artistic creation by women and in territories undergoing transformation.
